Science and Technology Museum, Wuhan (China)
Bringing science and technology to life in Wuhan
The Wuhan Science and Technology Museum was already one of the largest of its kind in China. With the remodeling of its exhibition space, it now ranks among the world’s first-class museums. Equipped with eight spacious exhibition halls covering themes such as the cosmos, life, and the sea, the landmark building also hosts a rooftop outdoor exhibition hall with an area of 1,000 square meters. Here, visitors can experience China’s first-ever aquatic exhibition hall and light exhibition hall.
More than 90 Barco Present series projectors have been installed throughout the eight exhibition areas to bring the displayed content to life. The museum’s designers have paid special attention to the harmonious merger of contemporary design sensibilities with distinctive local features. The halls’ innovative mix of modern interactive and visual technology creates a spectacular, awe-inspiring effect.
